Payment & refund policy

This page sets out the full cancellation and refund process for the three placements sold through Saltbox Echo. It works alongside the summary in our Terms of use.

1. Scope

This policy applies to payments made for the Neighbourhood Calendar Spot ($170 CAD), The Echo Hour Podcast Mentions ($480 CAD) and the Whole Row Partnership ($990 CAD).

2. Eligibility

A full refund is available if you cancel a Neighbourhood Calendar Spot at least 5 business days before its first day, a podcast mention booking at least 10 business days before the first scheduled recording, or a Whole Row Partnership before its first newsletter credit or podcast mention has run.

3. How to request a refund or cancellation

Email [email protected] or call +1 613-627-3050 during our office hours, Monday – Friday, 08:30–17:00, Eastern Time. Please include your booking reference, the placement name and the reason for the request.

4. Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. We'll confirm by email once a refund has been processed.

5. Non-refundable cases

Once a calendar listing has been published, a podcast episode carrying your mention has aired, or a credit within the Whole Row Partnership has run, that portion of the placement has already been delivered and is not eligible for a refund. Creative or artwork delays on the advertiser's side that push a placement past its scheduled run do not extend eligibility.

6. Rescheduling instead of cancelling

If your plans change, ask us about moving your placement to a new date rather than cancelling it — this is usually possible at no extra charge, subject to availability.

7. Returnss by Saltbox Echo

If we are unable to deliver a booked placement as agreed — for example because of a scheduling conflict on our side — we will offer you a full refund or a rebooking at an equivalent value, whichever you prefer.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
